Bandwidth
Our primary connectivity is provided through Level 3 Communications network via multiple one-gigabit ethernet connections into a Cisco 12000 series router to multiple outbound OC-48's in a SONET ring configuration. Additional bandwidth is available from various carriers.  The facility hosts an MCI OC-48, Pacific Bell OC-12 and dual Level 3 Communications OC-48's. Cross-connections from Level 3 provide access to additional carriers without the loop cost and reliability issues.

Power
FrontServe supports its customers with fully redundant high-capacity power feeds. The facility is powered by reliable utility feeds of sufficient capacity to support network equipment requirements. Building systems are upgraded as required. In the event of a power disruption, our generator automatically provides power to operate all network equipment and critical environmental and security systems. To further protect customers, the Data Center has a redundant Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with 20 minutes of battery backup at full load. Separate A and B power feeds are available to the customer.

Cooling
Environmental units are designed with n+1 redundancy at full load. Conditioned air is distributed from below the centers anti-static floor tiles, which provides balanced temperature control throughout the facility. Heat and humidity are maintained to Telcordia Technologies Network Equipment Building Standard (NEBS). On-site personnel continuously monitor facility environmentals.

Security
The Data Center is staffed 24 hours a day, and is monitored by digital video cameras. Access to the facility is controlled by digital card readers and limited to designated customer employees with photo identification badges and Internet Express support staff. Access to the colocation floor is further restricted by biometric identification systems.
