Technical Support Representative  (Email Resume)
Location: San Diego
Employment: Full Time

Description: Technical Support Representative will provide technical telephone and email support to external customers for Windows 2000 Web hosting based applications in client/server environments.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Server/Workstation, and TCP/IP
  • Familiarity with SQL databases
  • Overall Windows NT 4.0 experience is helpful
  • Bilingual or multilingual
  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience providing technical support
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of and work experience with NT
  • Work experience supporting Win95, Win98 and WinNT
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Ability to make sound decisions based on customer needs and technical knowledge
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize
Responsibilities:
  • Primary function is email technical support
  • Provide online escalation management, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving resolutions to support customers
  • Information gathering via email regarding customer issues
  • Resolve customer issues and document all support procedures in database
  • Create service notes, training, and application notes as required
  • Influence support in the early development of solutions, develop plans for transition into support
  • Perform other duties as assigned
