How is SSL Setup on my website?
We will create a separate directory on a different server with SSL. We will then
setup an FTP account so you can access this server and upload your files into
the secured directory.
In order to access the SSL
Pages, you would reference this site as follows...
https://www.sharedsslserver.com/YOURDOMAIN/PAGENAME.htm
Notice "yourdomain"
is the domain name without the suffix (.com, .net, .org) after it. Also
notice the https instead of the regular http, this is necessary for SSL
to operate properly and keep your pages secure.
All of your files in your regular site will be accessed
the same way as you do now. Only the files in the SECURED directory are
the files that need to be reference like the link above.
